Books, Books, and More Books!

Lately, I haven't been able to find a book to entertain my short attention span for no more than a couple chapters. But, that's all about to change, 'cause I bought two books the other day that sound VERY interesting...



The first one I bought is The Carrie Diaries by Candace Bushnell. Candace Bushnell is also the author of the Sex and the City novels. I've never read the Sex and the City books, but I love the TV series! I guess you could say The Carrie Diaries is a prequel to Sex and the City...a look into Carrie Bradshaw's life before she was a writer and lived in New-York City. The story starts back when Carrie was a Senior in high school, living in a small town, and aspiring to be a writer. I don't know why, but I've always felt like I could relate to Carrie Bradshaw. I think there is just something about her that MOST women can relate to.

The second book I bought is the 4th book in the Gossip Girl series (Because I'm Worth It). I've been lovin' the Gossip Girl series since sometime last year. But, I've never gotten around to watching the actual TV show. I will one of these days though...

Since I'm on the subject of books and such, there is something I would like to share with you (if you care that is). Two of my favorite famous people,Nikki Sixx and Kat Von D,are both writing another book (not together). I don't know too much about either of the books, although I do have SOME info to share...



From all of Nikki Sixx's Tweets, Myspace Post, and Facebook Statuses, I can tell that it's a photography book of some sorts. I REALLY CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS ONE TO COME OUT!!



Kat Von D's book is about what she knows/does best: Tattoos. From what I have heard, it's suppose to be a lot of her assorted diary entries. The diary entries were written after her tattooing jobs. A little tattoo diary thing going on you could say.

Well, I can not wait for those two books to come out! I especially can't wait to get started on my books that I bought the other day. I think I'll start with The Carrie Diaries...
