Valentines Day 2010

I don't know about you, but I'm really looking forward to Valentines Day this year. Not sure why...maybe it's the hopeless romantic in me. Because, believe it or not, I'm really into love and all that romantic jazz. But, not cheesy romance...more of true-I-can't-live-without-you-love, like The Notebook.

Well, maybe I DO know why I look forward to Valentines Day each and every year. One of my favorite-favorite things about it would have to be the card making. I love making cards! And I know exactly what I'm going to do this year for my V-Day cards. I'm not going to reveal to you what I'm going to do, at least, not yet. I would like to keep it to myself until I make the cards...then I'll get some pictures of the cards and post them on here. Hee Hee

I guess that's all I have to say about Valentines Day...for now.

Nikki Sixx & Kat Von D Break-up

To my surprise yesterday morning, I read on Facebook that Nikki Sixx and Kat Von D had broken up after two years of going together. I wasn't too sure if I should believe it or not. Soooooooooooooooo, I decided to look into it to see for myself and I found out that, in fact, it IS true. My curiosity ended soon after reading Nikki Sixx's Myspace blog (I just love reading his Myspace blog!). In his blog entry (titled "Katherine and nikki"), Nikki says "We are taking a break from our relationship for reasons that we will choose to keep personal." Well, all I have to say is that I wish both of them the very best!

Oh, and by the way, on a completely different subject...I would like to apologize for being lazy on my posting. I will use learning tons of lines for an upcoming play and taking lots and lots picture (as always!) as an excuse. But, I plan on being more faithful to my blog. hee hee

Photo Diary-December 2009

Last month was a great month in general. I finished up a play I was in, got to hang out with some friends that I didn't get to see because of the play, and of course lets not forget the holiday season.

Last month was also a great month for pictures...I took so many! I even let a few people use my camera...which is REALLY unlike me!

But, anywho...

Here is my month...December 2009...in pictures...

~December 1st~

I took this backstage at Playmakers (where I go to acting at) in my fairy costume. I miss that costume and all the glitter I wore with it!



~December 3rd~

~December 6th~

We had our cast party for The Lost & Found Christmas and The Velveteen Rabbit after the last show. I always get a little sad whenever I end a play. You get so use to going to play practice and seeing one another so much that it becomes...well...your LIFE! Hahahahaha We had our cast party at a local coffee shop which was just great! I LOVE COFFEE!

~December 9th~

On this day, Ransome had his monthly group guitar lesson. I decided to bring my camera with me to this one...

~December 16th~

Now this was a fun day and one of my favorite days of the month: Cornerstone. Cornerstone is a homeschool meeting where we all just get together and hang out. Since it was around the holiday season, we (as in the moms:) wrapped gifts for the needy.

Goodbye 2009, Hello 2010!

Well...

It's New Year's Eve! I honestly can't believe a year has come and gone. Goodbye 2009, hello 2010!

As the clock ticks closer to midnight, I ask myself, "What have I done this year?"

Hmmm...let's stop and think for a minute...

Back in March (or maybe it was February...) I taught myself how to play the bass guitar. Which was and still is amazing! I've also learned that it is my favorite instrument to play; Probably always will be too. Next month, a few of my friends and I are starting a band. Guess what I'm playing?

My love of photography has gotten way deeper. I never knew how much I loved taking pictures until this year. Now, I can't seem to go anywhere without my camera. :)

I've met a few new people this year, who I've became great friends with!

My blog has managed to grow! I can't believe it...I now have 24 followers. It may not seem like a lot to you, but to me it is. And that's all that really matters, right?

My addiction to music has gotten worse this year. Which, I guess is a good thing! hahahaha My friend said that music is like the thing you can never OD on. Very true, very true...

And, for the most part, I've grown as a person (duh), learned lots, uncovered different things about myself, discovered new things, and rediscovered some old things too. I can't wait to start the new year and see what it has to bring for me...

My New 'Cammy'

For Christmas this year, one of my gifts was a camera. Yes, I now have my very own camera! Before that, I was using my Mom's because I broke my last. Don' ask...

My new "Cammy" (which is what I have decided to name her. Hee hee) is a blood red Nikon Cool Pix. It's a great little camera that I can take wherever I may go and tiny enough to keep inside my purse.

Of course, I'm still getting use to Cammy. It has so many different modes! Soooooooooo, yesterday I decided to take Cammy on a photo adventure.

But, before I show you the picture I got, let me just tell you that we had a White Christmas this year! I live in Oklahoma and it's pretty rare to see snow in December. I don't care who you are, if you celebrate Christmas you always hope and pray for a White Christmas!
